Here I have listed some various typical applications and there Vista readiness.
This is by no means a complete list, as time going on I will update and add addition apps we have tested and or run ourselves.
What does the various certification or compatibility mean?
If a product is certified for Vista it has been tested to be fully compliant, if it is Vista compatible it will run but with some caveats. For a full definition see the MS Vista site
Choose certified over compatible applications for better Vista experience.

Windows Vista Compatibility?
DVDShrink DOES work with Windows Vista.
But any verson 6 of Nero DOES NOT work with Vista. If you want to use Nero, you
may want
to get v7 ultra as many people have luck with it.
Or you can instruct DVDShrink to create an ISO image and use ImgBurn to burn the
DVD
instead. (ImgBurn does work with Vista)

Beyond Compare 2.4.3 works on Windows Vista with only a few minor issues.
We're testing in house with Windows Vista, and we plan to release a compatible
version.

discussion forums.
